A 29.5-inch circumference is, historically, the standard ball size for male players over the age of 12 and is the size of the standard NBA regulation balls. It’s also referred to as the size 7 ball. Women and children ages 10 to 12 typically play with balls of smaller size, usually a 28.5-inch circumference, that’s also known as a size 6 ball.
A BMI of 27.2 is considered overweight for men and women and is often an indication that a person is carrying a bit too much body fat. Of course, you can also have a 27.2 BMI while being lean and muscular. If you have a 27.3 BMI, then you’re classed as being overweight, although a BMI of 27.3 is still on the lower end of the overweight

A 27.5-inch bike is more proportioned for shorter riders and 29-inch wheels for taller riders. Luckily, there is a wide crossover in the middle-from about 5'5" to 6'2" is where a rider can comfortably choose either wheel size. Under 5'5" is generally 27.5 jurisdiction and above 6'2" is fit by 29-inch bikes best.
For what it's worth, I took a quick measurement of my 27.5+ vs 29er. The pics shows the height difference between the Specialized Purgatory 27.5x3.0 on a Roval SL38 (38mm ID) = ( 28 3/4 inches tall) Specialized Purgatory 29x2.3 on a Kappius KR-29-XCW (40mm ID) = ( 29 3/8 inches tall) Here's the thread. If your goal is to be in the top 10 percent of men’s golfers, here’s the handicap you need: 4.9 or better. According to the statistics, 9.77% — or roughly 170,000-plus people — have
Usability and Comfort – Marlin 5 vs Rockhopper. Both the Marlin 5 and the Rockhopper make a different frame for the smaller bikes sizes. The top part of the frame is curved to allow easier access onto the seat to make getting on and off the bike a breeze. The Marlin offering a high range of 21 gears means you can get closest to the pedalling
Schwalbe off-road tires commonly prioritise grip rather than durability, but a few of their touring models work out well for dirt roads. Vittoria makes a few super fast-rolling models that folks are getting great mileage out of, and they come in the new 29 x 2.60″ size too. But first, let’s start with some general tire info.
Generally speaking, 27.5-inch wheels work with the more playful, nimble and nippy type of bike compared to 29-inch wheels. Some manufacturers offer models with either 29 or 27.5 wheels. The larger frame sizes have a 29er setup and the smaller sizes with 27.5 wheels slotted into the same model of bike. Plus size wheels
With a circumference that’s 11.5% bigger, a 29er tyre will have an 11.5% larger air volume. So all things being equal, you should be able to run a 29er tyre with 11.5% lower air pressure than an equivalent 26-inch tyre. If you typically run 30psi in 26-inch wheels, you should be able to use 26.5psi with 29-inch wheels.
The age old debate 26 vs 27.5 vs 29 inch wheels. Which is the best wheel size out there? Or heck which is just the best size for you! In this bike quick talk

Finally, compared to 29ers, 27.5s are typically a better choice for smaller riders (especially those 5’2” and under): they’re less cumbersome, provide a better overall fit, and offer greater control. 27.5 and 29-inch-wheeled bikes have different strong suits. 29er

The battle between mountain bike sizes is far from over. We like 29ers, but we also like 26ers. Which is better? There’s only one way to find out- FIGHT! And nowadays there’s 650b or 27.5″ wheels throwing their hat in the ring too. Obviously, pitting two inanimate objects against one another would be ridiculous, so […]
Basically, a 29-inch wheel has a far better chance of smoothly navigating rough terrain and maintaining momentum effortlessly. But its not all great news, with such a noticeable improvement in stability, traction and roll-over capability, a 29er is less agile than a 27.5 inch wheel.
Ive been lurking for deals on either a new fork, or new wheelset. And new or used, there are better prices on 27.5 forks and wheels than there are for 29’er variants of the same stuff. I’ve also been keeping an eye out for a used bike for a buddy getting into the sport. And there are way more deals for 27.5 than 29, at least where I am.
• Wheel size: 29" or 27.5+ • Travel: 140mm rear / 150mm front • Carbon or aluminum frame options • 65.2 or 65.5-degree head angle And better than broken frames. [Reply] 4 4.
So I swapped out the stock 27.5” Fox 34 140mm with a 29” Fox 34 130mm. Why the drop in travel? 29” forks will always have a longer axle to crown measurement than a 27.5” fork with the same travel. I dropped 10mm to help mitigate this increase in front end height. Even with the drop in travel, the fork was still taller than the stock
