Being lvl 13 on that particular profile now, I still can't afford my own truck, let alone a garage with truck and hired driver. I just keep going without taking a loan. If you insist on taking loan(s) to get ahead in the game, there's really not much point setting your income factor to 0.1 as I see it.
Sorry about the blunt reply O HELL YEAH , LET me give you IMHO my take on the game. The long drive across America is a dream of freedom. On the road again, dum de-dum dum. Euro Truck Simulator 2, as much as I love it, often feels like a commute, a battle with lanes and roundabouts, whereas ATS feels like escape.
Should I save more money? Borrow from bank? I have about 36000. I just started and did only 6 missions. When should i hire drivers?
Euro Truck Simulator 2 is a fantastic game. I'm so happy to have found it - and decided to play, as I had it in my arsenal for a year or two. It's got everything - a need for speed, a need for skill, drama, tension, you actually care, and the devilishly simple premise turns out to be full of twists and turns - literally.
Euro Truck Simulator 2. then took 2 100k loans and hired 2 drivers and bought 2 trucks. now have 3 garages and 10 drivers #4. Seilky. Jul 26, 2013 @ 7:43pm
That is (with positive and negative figures) more around 5 quintillion (short count) if I remember correctly - or between us Germans using long count still 5 trillion. Integer however does usually not crash the computer on exceeding the limit. It just "revolves" over like an odometer in a car.
One of the guides I read, I ran enough runs till I could pay for my first truck in cash, then took the 400k loan, upgraded the garage amd bought two more Volvo's. They h ave the highest horsepower out of the gate and the highest in final upgrade at 750hp. train the drivers for high value then long distance.

It is up to you how long you wish to drive for others. You have to work really hard for your first truck (you need about EUR 100,000), but you can take a loan. After completing several orders, a bank will send you an e-mail encouraging to take a loan. Later, your loan limit will rise up to EUR 500,000. [Read more in "Bank" chapter.] With that I upgraded my starting garage so it could hold 3 trucks, hired two drivers and bought 2 more trucks. I have currently $300k left to pay, when I pay that loan off, I may or may not take out a $500k loan to expand again. I am well aware I can have multiple loans, but I decided 1 loan is enough to pay off at a time. :P

Yes. You can also pay it in advance. i took out a 100k loan, and its been days. and it still says i have to pay 100,000 left. i have like 30,000. is it supposed to do that? #2. vonswe Jun 23, 2013 @ 5:11am. I have only taken out a lone once, and payed it back in advance. On a 100k loan you should have to pay 2887/day.
I usually get the first loan offered and buy a truck. Using your own truck pays roughly twice the quick jobs, and even when you deduct fuel/repairs/loan interest you'll still earn more, unless ypu always crash. 3.
Don't upgrade your garages in the beginning can be useful. Just buy new once; you get 3 slots instead of two and you are able to transport to the garages, which will pass time. So getting a couple garages all over the map fight be more useful in the beginning. Don't be afraid to be in depth. You can totally do it without loaning a single penny
This requires a lot of in-game money, which requires either a lot of time to save or pay a bank loan. You must own your own truck. The cheapest one costs approximately $120,000, but you should get one better than that. You will also need a three-truck garage, which is $180,000. Now, I'm coming here as an ATS main, so I know what the best trailers are other there and I'm assuming it's probably the same in ETS2 but since I just hit level 5 and unlocked the ability to buy a trailer, I'm looking at what's available and need some advice; The stock trailer I can buy right now is just a curtainsider, however I also have the two trailer DLCs which apparently lets me buy all The game looks completely identical in dx11 as far as I can tell, there is however a substantial performance increase, probably at least 25%. Enhanced multi-threading seems to be the main cause (at least on my rig where the CPU has always been the bottleneck with these games). J4CKI3 Aug 30, 2017 @ 5:36pm. I saved until I got my own truck, then got a loan for employees. #1. Rookie-31st Aug 30, 2017 @ 6:06pm. Take small loan to cover basic day cab cost, and enjoy trucking. #2. Zilljah Aug 30, 2017 @ 6:19pm. Suggest you save up to get your first truck, then save up a nest egg ($200k) before taking out a loan to get an This way you are getting the most out of any distance you drive. You can be getting 70+ euro per kilometer instead of 30-50 euro per kilometer. On a short 500 kilometer trip you are already looking at about 1,000 euro more between 70€/km versus only getting 50€/km. best answer, maxing the long-range first is just stupid. I know you can pay off an entire loan early (as long as you have the full amount), but I don't see any option to pay more than the installment back early (e.g., 15,000 instead of the game-determined amount of 5,000). Anyone know if partial re-payment of loans early is possible in this game? Showing 1 - 2 of 2 comments.

Euro Truck Simulator 2. Are bank loans worth it? OctopusRoyalty 10 years ago #11. Yes, grab the loans as soon as you can, but don't have multiple 100K loans at the same time. Get one 100K loan to buy your own truck and then wait until you can get a 400K loan. Then pay back the 100K loan and use your remaining 300K+ to buy three more trucks and
