The GTI gearbox is completely different to all other models, plus it had a 200mm clutch whereas all others are 175mm or 190mm. Am fost la un service mi-au masurat compresia si aveam pe cilindrul 1 = 16 bar, cil. 2 = 16 bar, cil. 3 = 16 bar, cil. 4 = 9 bar (e drept cu motorul cald). Cei de acolo mi-au spus ca e un piston defect.

Mine popped off a little while ago and I noticed a heck of a difference with the overall power and with fuel too.3- put the engine on, measured voltage when engine is on: 14.27V. 4- after 15 hrs the voltage of battery is 12.20 V. 5- after 24 hrs from the charge it is 12.16V. so if consider a linear discharge, it spends smth like 0.012 V/hr => it could reach 11.13 V in 4 days, which i guess is not enough to start the engine. .
